 SURPRISE!!
It was quite a surprise for my mom and dad to see me arrive last weekend!!

My sister hadn't been to Cherry Berry yet, and one just opened in Billings,
so we stopped for a quick treat on the way to get the balloons for Faith's party.  YUMMY!

Danny and Paige...so excited for their upcoming nuptials!!

My brother, Dave, and his son, Jon

Enjoying family time at Faith's graduation breakfast...

My former principal (in Billings) is now the president of the Catholic school system in Billings.  We had a great time catching up!!  It was so nice to see him.

Rally for Richie

A "Rally for Richie" was held recently to help Richie and his family during his stem cell surgery and recovery. It was held a week after our school had our "Run for Richie."  His family was very grateful for all of the support.  It was held at McPete's in Big Lake and was a huge success (even if Ann didn't win her silent auction item)!! :0)
Richie wanted a picture for the school monitors of him surrounded by those of us who came to his benefit.  There was face painting and hair painting available, so you can see he went with red and blue!! :)

Sadly, Jim passed away from his cancer last night.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Kati and Brayden, their son.

Happy Mother's Day to Mom O. as well.  Today was very difficult for us without you to share it with.  Not a day goes by without thinking of you and remembering what a wonderful mom you were.  We know that you are watching over us from heaven.  Love you, Mom O.!!

Run For Richie

Richard was diagnosed with childhood cancer Ewing's Sarcoma in February by a biopsy of his lump on his left forearm. (He even named this lump Bob). Richie finished his 6th round of chemo at the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital. Soon he will also have a stem cell transplant.  He and his mom will need to be there at least 60 days, so our school had a fundraiser called "Run for Richie" this past week.  It was so awesome as the varsity and JV baseball and track teams ran in addition to our MS track and softball teams.  Many other students participated along with lots of staff members. The donation was $5 per person.  The track team set a goal of $500 and tripled it by raising a total of $1531!!

Here is Richie...ALWAYS a smile on his face.

Richie rode his bike alongside Ryan, one of our 8th graders.

Here is the whole gang!! His mom was so touched by all of the support for her son!!
