Diana's Fabulous Garden Tour

Diana, one of my co-workers, invited some of us over for a tour of her unbelievable gardens and a BBQ. We had heard about her gardening abilities, and she has been featured on the news and in the newspaper, but we didn't realize just how beautiful they would be.  It was even hard to decide what to take pictures of in order to do her gardens justice.  They were as big and beautiful as our local Munsinger Gardens!!

Her fairy garden

One of her kittens playing with her white hibiscus

Another cat amidst the purple flowers

They even have a train track and a town that lights up surrounding one of the gardens to entertain the kids!!

A few of us gathered for a quick picture.

A perfect place for a nap...

She even has a cherry tree!

 So much beauty...

Some of the amazing sights from "Out West"...
the Big Horn Mountains

Wildlife in the city park on my daily walks with the doggies

Time for Pretty Toes

Rache and I took Grandma to get her toes done.  She really enjoyed having a cup of coffee, a chair massage, and her feet pampered.

Rache was brave enough to let little "Richard" select a color for her toes!

One happy Grandma :0)

Holy Donuts in Session!!

We had our best year yet in the doughnut making department!!

Rache and Grandma making the shapes...

Rache rolling out the dough for the third time...

Surprise guests this year!! Dr. Eric and Jessica were home to help us!!

Jessica glazed the donuts.

Eric was our "sugar" daddy...LOL!!

Grandpa gave us the thumbs up this year!!

Eric and Grandpa in a "discussion"

...while Jessica stands in the background to have a good giggle!!

Grandpa is still not done with his side of the story, and Rache sneaks a doughnut hole.

As usual, I am the fryer!!

Licorice in the Park

The first night that we were back in Sheridan from Danny's wedding we headed down to the park for licorice ice cream!  YUM!!  There was a long line as well as many sad faces due to all of the sold out flavors!!

New in the park this summer are these really cool wood statues/carvings.  Rache said that one of the junior high teachers is the master of them.  The ice cream cone and fish were already completed when we had ice cream that night, but I got to watch his progress on the coyote as I walked the doggies each morning in the park.  It was very interesting to see him in action!!  The last of the four isn't finished yet, and it looks to be a crescent shaped moon with a face carved into it.  It reminds me of the picture from the children's book, Goodnight Moon.   Very cool and creative pieces of art!!
