More Sight Seeing...

Getting ready to ride the cable car :0)

Sissy and I enjoyed our cable car ride. :0)

A stop at Fisherman's Wharf

One of our highlights was seeing all of these beautiful flowers;
so that's what color looks like!!

It's been a long winter, so all of these colorful flowers were quite a sight!! :)

Next up was a ferry ride to Alcatraz (Stacy's first time seeing the island)...

The view from our ferry ride...

Even the flowers at Alcatraz were amazing!!

Jolene grew up on Alcatraz Island and recently wrote a book about the escape
from Alcatraz.  She was there doing a book signing.

A little jail time...

Dinner at an amazing seafood restaurant located on Pier 39...

More flowers to enjoy as we shopped along Pier 39...

Ready for our ride back to the hotel...
Another fun day together!!!

Lots of Sight Seeing...

Time to go sight seeing...
Views from our cable car ride...

Last year we went across the Golden Gate Bridge and "saw" it from below, but it was too foggy to get decent pictures.  This year we lucked out and were able to see it much better and get decent pictures even though there was some fog nearby.

We definitely didn't have a lot of sun on this trip.  They've been in a drought for months, and the six days that we were there, it rained all of them!!  It was still better than what we've had this winter in MN!!

Fun on the way to catch the cable car...

Of course, we had to do some shopping on the way as well!! :0)

 Lionel and his loves...LOL!!!
Lots of laughs and fun at this store!!!

This store thought it was cold enough to have a space heater by the employees' feet as they greeted their customers.  Seriously?! It was 59 degrees!!

Ocean Beach

 The view from Twin Peaks

At the top of Twin Peaks

This is where Francis Ford Coppola lived and owned the cafe below
(where he wrote Godfather I and Godfather II).
This is the church where Sister Act I and Sister Act II were filmed.

Dinner at a fabulous Italian restaurant in Little Italy...yummy!!!

We opted to walk back to the hotel after our delicious dinner and these incredible desserts!

A beautiful city view from our hotel...
