     Our MS and HS art and music departments joined forces to raise money for our local food shelf.  It was the first event of its kind, but it was such a success that I foresee it becoming an annual event! :0)

One of our highlights was seeing all of these beautiful flowers; 

so that's what color looks like!!

It's been a long winter, so all of these colorful flowers were quite a sight!! :)

Next up was a ferry ride to Alcatraz (Stacy's first time seeing the island)...

Jolene grew up on Alcatraz Island and recently wrote a book about the escape
 from Alcatraz.  She was there doing a book signing.
