Such a cute idea!!

Paige's mom wasn't too happy about the hot dog tie, but Paige loved it as she and her sisters gave it to him as a gift when they were little.  He did bring his beautiful pink tie as a back up, but the bride gave him the thumbs up to wear the hot dog tie instead.

Wedding Rehearsal & Family BBQ

So many pictures to share from the weekend's wedding festivities!!!!!
I LOVED their awesome wedding programs.  Each chair had one placed on it.

Danny doing what he does best...goofing around!!

In all seriousness, in this picture they were practicing the Celtic tying of the hands/unity rings.

The ring bearer, David, is a Filipino boy that Danny got close to when he lived in the Philippines with David's family for six months.

I just happened to catch this touching moment between father and son.
Greg was giving Danny his grandfather's pocket watch to wear for his wedding day.

I am so glad I happened to witness this moment on camera!!

Catching Up...

A week ago I had a chance to have breakfast and catch up with Sara and her son, Cooper.  I haven't seen her much since she teaches at a different school now, and I haven't had a chance to see her since she turned the BIG 40!!  We had an awesome chat, and it was great to see how much Cooper has grown up.  Her other son, Cameron, was at sandlot baseball; it would have been great to see him too.  Maybe next time!

Later that same day, I hooked up with Jessalyn, Dallas, and Stacie.
Jessalyn has cut her first two teeth already and has started to crawl.
She still has those gorgeous big blue eyes!!

Then she had a chance to take her first dip in her baby pool.

She was quite enamored with the whole experience!!
So cute...

Murder Mystery Theater

What a fabulous time we had at the Murder Mystery Theater recently.  "'Til Death Do Us Part" was the name of the performance.  I've always heard that mystery theaters were a lot of fun, so I was really excited to try it out.  It was an especially fitting title since it was Sara's wedding week!! It was held at The Spaghetti Factory in the Cities, and it was an interactive dinner party.  Our table was the bachelorette party (that had been going on for three days), which was very funny since we were there with our special bride.  Each table was given a binder of information as well as money to bribe others with for additional information, and there were two "interrogation" sessions throughout the dinner and play.
Part of the deal was that we had to wear attire opposite of what we would normally wear to a wedding.  These bikinis were definitely not appropriate wedding wear!! It was fun to see all of the other inappropriate wedding attire worn by the other theater guests too. :0)
Margo made Sara, the bride-to-be, a special veil and bridal bouquet, and she added tulle to our goofy animal hats (shown in the first picture).  Such a talented lady!! :)
At least Sara got to wear a white crown with colored rhinestones!!
Here's Jill giving directions to the bride-to-be in her sexy bikini!  LOL!!  This was an awesome adventure.  Thanks for planning it, Jill!! :)
