A Rocky Start to Spring Break...

     April, Brynne, and I were California bound!  I headed to San Francisco to meet my sister, sister-in-law, and niece.  April and Brynne headed to see her family in southern CA.  Our flights only left 50 minutes apart, so we were able to have some time together on the way to the airport. :)

 But first...a pool game with Brynne before heading to the airport.

 Brynne showed me her fun app that can makeover a doll.

I found her some entertainment for her plane ride.

While we were headed to the airport, I got a text saying that their flight was canceled. ):

 15 inches of snow was the culprit!

 Faith was already at the San Fran airport waiting, 

so I flew there as scheduled (and after a two hour delay) to meet her.

 We finally made it to the hotel at 2 AM.

 Faith and I headed out to do some shopping and check out the local entertainment!

We had fun trying out the whispering tunnels!! :)

 We can now say that we saw our first official protest.

 It even had law enforcement following in the rear!

 We just had to make a stop at Ghirardelli.  YUM!!!

These were very delicious!

 Shelby just couldn't believe how much snow had fallen.  

It started on Thursday and snowed non-stop until Sunday.

Faith and I enjoyed dinner at California Pizza Kitchen.

FINALLY...Stacy and Cathy got a flight out 24 hours later.

We made the most of the remaining time that we had together.

They're Here!

Sophie had her babies...all ten of them!!

 She is exhausted after having one pup every 35 minutes.

One week old...they're growing already!!

"Um, Pretty?!"

     While my sister was at my parents' house this week helping out, Cathy text to say that she had heard a blizzard was headed our way.  Yep...it sure was!  She thought our "Winter Wonderland" was so pretty.  I was looking for a different adjective!!  Pretty for December, yes.  Not so pretty after the winter that we have had and the fact that it is almost March!!

     The next morning Cathy text wondering how much snow we ended up with.  To which I replied, "TOO much!!  We are out of room when we snow blow our driveway!!"

     How lucky Eric and Jessica are to be living in Arizona now!  But then again, they wouldn't be able to see such fun snow art as this (courtesy of Mathieu and Meghan). :0) See you in California next week, sissy poo!

     A special thanks for all of your extra support and prayers this week for my mom. Her blood clot ended up being six inches long running from her armpit towards her heart but was wrapped around her pacemaker wires. So scary!!!  Love you, mama!!

We had a red, white, and blue day on Friday to support our country in the Olympics.  

It was fun and festive!  Go USA!!

     My friends, Darci and Mike, had a night out recently.  Their babysitter went to check on Ranger and found him on top of the laundry room countertop.  She quickly sent them a picture as she found it hilarious! Apparently, he has never done that before!!  Too cute to pass up on my blog! :0)

Let's Dish!

     A group of my co-workers pitched in to buy meals at Let's Dish for another co-worker and his wife, who has had some major medical struggles since November.  Alisha and I headed to Maple Grove to make the meals.  It was a lot of fun for both of us, but it was super fun for Alisha since it was her first time "dishing". My friend, Becky, and I used to "dish" a few times each school year for several years.  Too bad it's so hard for us to connect since she's very busy with three little boys these days!! );

I'm ready with my hat and apron! :0)
