Happy Father's Day!!

     Today is dedicated to the fathers in my life.  First of all, my father, John.  He is such a wonderful dad, and he has taught me so much about life.  He has always shown us the value of hard work and the labor of love.  He and my mom are definitely the most giving and generous people I know.  He has passed on so many good qualities to his children and grandchildren as well as showing us how to be proud of our Polish heritage.  It was fun to go into the photo albums and find these pictures to scan.  Many fond memories were brought back to me as well.

 This is a picture of all six of us: Jim, Dave, Cathy, Steven (on Cathy's lap), me, and Bob.

 These are two pictures of me with my dad. The first one is a picture of me as an infant, and the other is a picture of me when I was about two years old sporting a big grin!! :)

      I wanted to include these two pictures too. The first one is my mom's graduation picture from nursing school, and the second one is my dad's military picture. He is a veteran of the Korean War. Both of them worked so hard to provide for our family and to give us many things that they didn't have growing up.

     Here is a picture of my mom and dad with most of their grandchildren. It was taken at their 40th wedding anniversary (which was 15 years ago already). The other picture is of the two of us dancing. He is a very good dancer especially to Polish waltzes. :)

     This picture was taken this past Christmas.  JJ loves her grandpa too.  She always wants to sit on his lap whenever we are home visiting my family.

     Second of all, I wanted to remember and mention my father-in-law, Herb.  This is our first Father's Day without him. ):  He was another man who knew the value of hard work and passed it on to his six children.  The picture on the left was taken two Christmases ago at Todd and Missy's house, and the other picture is of him with Cathy, my mother-in-law, when they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.  A weird coincidence mentioned/explained by our priest at our wedding is that both of our parents were married the same year, and both had 6 kids (4 boys/2 girls); ironically enough, every year that my mom had a child, his mom had a child, so not only are there six children in each family, but they are all the same age.  I am just the same age as Darrell's youngest brother not him!! :)

     Finally, I would like to say a very happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband, Darrell.  He certainly has been a loving and supportive father to Michael and Danielle.  It has always been evident that he loves us all very much!! Thanks, honey!! :)

Our family recently celebrated Danielle's college graduation from SCSU. 

     A beautiful view of the Big Horn Mountains in the summertime.  Darrell and my dad have enjoyed many wonderful times in these mountains alongside Bob, Eric, and Timmy.
